It was summer time and Samsung were looking for a way to offer their QLED TV sets. Knowing that many people enjoy spending long summer days in front of the TV, we decided to create a movie riddle on Instagram.
We asked Instagram followers to guess the genre or name of a film from the clues in a photo.
The challenge was to relate the campaign to other Samsung products. We combined the products with elements of movies and genres through creative illustrations.
Since the campaign coincided with the 2019 World Emoji Day, we also decided to design another challenge for our audience. We gave them a string of emojis and challenged them to name the movie.
The campaign proved to be extremely engaging and tapped into the core target audience for QLED TVs.
